Bare Ground to Backyard Retreat
Settling a modern home into nature.
Designed and built by The Pines Group.
Our clients had just purchased the home. Apart from some minor planting at the front entrance, the property was mostly gravel and dirt, with no landscaping at all.
Their goal was a landscape that complemented the home and its surroundings, while easing into the natural backyard. They wanted landscaping that grew overtime, building privacy, and creating a cozy atmosphere to entertain and enjoy.
At first, the front’s armour stone at the front was a lot to take in, so we added corten steel planters and traditional garden beds to soften it.
The result adds curb appeal, shifts the focus away from the stone, and presents a landscape that sits beautifully beside nature.
It starts with a vision
for your space.
A backyard reimagined. A home expanded. A property transformed. From first conversation to final detail, we turn ideas into environments that feel as good as they look.
